CNC Machinist/Programmer

MB Recruitment Aust has a great opportunity available to join a growing and successful Australian business in the Northern Suburbs Full Time Permanent Role.

We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of 5 years experience as CNC Machinist/Programmer. Must have experience in Mill-Turn Lathe. 

In this role you will be responsible for manufacturing components to specification as per job sheet and in line with a production schedule. This employer specialises with onsite machining under a quality accredited management system.

To be successful in the role we are looking for someone with:

• A minimum of five years’ experience in Trade.
• Previous experience with Okuma CNC’s would be looked upon favourably
• Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of production methodologies, Lean production fundamentals and quality principles advantageous
• A positive attitude and self-motivator
• Strong communication skills
